“Overnighters”

The “Overnighters” to Minden and Taos: Minden is Sat, Sun, Monday (May 19-21). Taos is Friday, Sat, Sun (July 20-22). Some people have more problems with getting Friday off and others, Monday off so we decided to split the difference. Both of these are much longer rides than we usually take – slightly over 350 miles – when our average has been around 200 to 250. They really are 3 dayers unless you have an “iron butt” and want to ride there, sleep and ride home. Again this is what the club voted for so I am doing my best to get them arranged. –Activities Officers–

Since we have been unable to guarantee payment for the bus, the Sierra Bus Company in Ault has released our bus. Stephanie tells me they have no other buses available for that date.

Sorry, there will be NO bus trip to Black Hawk for Saturday 2-25-2012.

Maybe next year or later this year. We will have to guarantee a bus at least 1 month ahead to have them hold a bus for us.

Impromptu Ride List

We have started an Impromptu Ride email list. The idea is so that anyone on the list that is going for a ride can email the list and see if anyone wants to ride along. For those that don’t check your email very often, please provide a phone number and carrier (Verizon, AT&T, etc). We can try to send the emails to your phone as a text message.
